Luella Overeem

Luella OvereemLuella Overeem, a commercial artist by profession, found The Infinite Way in 1962. Not long after attending a class by Joel, she became Lorraine Sinkler’s assistant in running the Infinite Way Study Center in Chicago. When Lorraine moved to Florida, Luella started having her own meetings and was called upon for teaching and practitioner work.

This resulted in Luella’s writing and publishing TREASURE HUNT: An Adventure In Inner Space, which is described as “A guide to meditation and spiritual principles for the young of all ages.” Subsequently, the “Letter Lessons” which she sent to her students in the 1970’s have been collected and published as Developing Spiritual Consciousness, Vols. 1 and 2. Referring to Joel’s “Infinite Way Monthly Letter,” Luella helped clarify spiritual principles with the aid of drawings and diagrams, thus making use of her artistic talents. Luella went on to be sponsored by many groups throughout the U.S. for classwork until she passed on in 1993.
